Right on the shores of the Luangwa River, in the wildest area of the National Park (the Nsefu Sector), surrounded by the an intricate mopane forest, right in the very heart of the Uppoer Lupande Game Management Area lies Lions Rest Safari Bushcamp.
The Bushcamp’s offers one of the purest and most authentic camping experiences in the entire Luangwa Valley, offering our guests only 5 camping tents complete with private bush showers and composting toilets. The camp has no electricity and relies on solar and paraffin lamps. The wilderness area that surrounds the remote bushcamp attracts a multitude of elephants, hippos, antelopes, lions, leopards and many other wild species typical of the Luangwa Valley.
