This tour will make you live a wonderful motorcycle experience in Zambia, unique and unforgettable, in a Country that is still barely touched by international tourism. A trail that combines the joy of a motorcycle tour and the emotions of game viewing in Zambian national parks.

Part of this unique motorcycle tour involves the most beautiful and renown National Park of Zambia, South Luangwa National Park, along breath-taking dirt roads, characteristic villages, and beautiful mountain passes.
The tour includes Game viewing activities as well as incredible bike rides.
Nights are spent Lodging throughout the Safari.

Motorcycles and assistance included in the organization:

We will be using our “Big five” motorcycles, reliable Honda Transalp 600cc completely refurbished and properly equipped for on- and off-road stretches.
The group will be led by a motorcycle-riding professional guide and will be followed by a 4×4 support vehicle that will offer assistance, carry all luggage and camping gear, as well as motorcycle passengers who might decide to “take it easy” for a day or two.
The tour can either Start in Lusaka and end in Livingstone or the other way around, based on the location of the Bikes.

Day 1: Lusaka

Upon arrival at Lusaka international airport, you will be assisted in final preparations (local SIM card, forex, etc.) before your Safari starts. Transfer to a good level lodge. Check-in and delivery of the motorcycles. Time available for relaxing. Dinner not included.

Day 2: Chimwemwe

Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a 350km leg on tarmac road. the road starts straight, but after a while starts climbing up on the Maninekela mountains, before descending in the valley of the Luangwa river. We will cross the Luangwa River at the border with Mozambique and have a lunch break in a very picturesque spot. .We will then continue for another 100km until Petauke where we will lodge for one night. Dinner at the lodge is not included.

Day 3: South Luangwa N.P. – Malama Umoyo

After breakfast we will proceed on a long and challenging off-road stretch (gravel roads, dust village roads, and sandy dry riverbeds crossing) for about  140km. Along the road, it’s important to pay attention to the abundant wildlife that could pose a potential threat. Arrival at Malama Umoyo approximately by lunchtime (5 hours).Lunch prepared by our accompanying chef at the lodge and check-in. The rest of the day is dedicated to relaxation in the unspoiled paradise of Malama, the wildest sector of the National Park.

Day 4: South Luangwa National Park

Day entirely dedicated to the exploration of the Malama sector of the South Luangwa National Park. All meals are prepared at the lodge by our accompanying chef and the nights are lodging.

Day 5: Malama – Mfuwe

sunrise wake, breakfast and off-road riding for approximately 50km in the middle of the National Park area, surrounded by wildlife. We will reach Mfuwe in the late morning and check in at Marula Lodge in en-suite chalets. Afternoon game drive on our support vehicle in the Park. All meals are prepared at the lodge by our accompanying chef and the nights are lodging.

Day 6: Mfuwe – South Luangwa N.P.

Day entirely dedicated to game viewing activities in the Park on board of our support vehicle, with a sunrise and an afternoon game-drives. All meals prepared by our accompanying chef and nights camping around the fire.

Day 7: Mfuwe – Petauke

Breakfast and long stretch to return to Petauke. this time we will ride on a tarmac road that winds on the hills that surround the Luangwa Valley. We will reach Chimwemwe lodge and check-in. Meals not included

Day 8: Lusaka

Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a 350km leg on tarmac road. the road starts straight, but after a while starts climbing up on the Maninekela mountains, before descending and continuing to Lusaka. Lunch break along the way. Arrival is expected in the early afternoon. Check in at a lodge and time available for relaxing and preparation of the luggage. Dinner in Lusaka for a farewell to Zambia.

Day 9: end of tour

Breakfast and return of the motorcycles. Airport transfer in time for your international flight. End of arrangements
