This tour will make you live a wonderful motorcycle experience in Botswana, a unique and unforgettable Country that is a dream for many travellers and moto-tourists. A trail that combines the joy of a motorcycle tour and the emotions of game viewing in Botswana national parks and exploration of real wilderness trails.
The unique characteristic of this Safari is to include several different ways to live your African adventure: On top of the motorcycle routes, that mainly take place on tarmac roads to allow everybody to enjoy the beauty of this travel experience, you will enjoy 4×4 safaris, Boat river safaris on the Chobe river, a short Walking Safari in Livingstone trekking the last remaining white rhinos and even a Quad bike adventure in the Makghadighadi desert. All to allow participants to taste what it means to live a real African Adventure! Moreover, you will experience the beauty of the Victoria Falls, one of the seven wanders of the world, and the possibility to spend a whole day on the Okavango Delta
Motorcycles and assistance included in the organization:
We will be using our “Big five” motorcycles, reliable Honda Transalp 600cc completely refurbished and properly equipped for on- and off-road stretches.
The group will be led by a motorcycle-riding professional guide and will be followed by a 4×4 support vehicle that will offer assistance, carry all luggage and camping gear, as well as motorcycle passengers who might decide to “take it easy” for a day or two.
The tour starts in Livingstone and participants can decide if they want to conclude their tour in Maun or go back to Livingstone by motorcycle at no additional cost.
Day 1: Livingstone
Upon arrival at Livingstone international airport, you will be assisted in final preparations before your Safari starts.
Transfer to Olga’s Guesthouse and accommodation in a very central area of Livingstone. Dinner in Livingstone not included.
Day 2: Livingstone
In the morning, Rhino Game Drive and Game Walk in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park followed by a guided tour of the Falls.
Lunch (not included) either on the Victoria Bridge or in Livingstone. In the afternoon, you will collect your bike and start getting acquainted to your vehicle, with an Adventure Ride along the Zambezi Gorges crossing traditional villages on sandy and gravel roads and enjoying spectacular landscapes and sights. Own arrangements for meals in Livingstone and night at the lodge.
Day 3: Chobe National Park
Wake and early breakfast, then we will start riding towards Botswana. We will enter Kasane and dedicate the whole day to the discovery of the magnificent Chobe National Park, with a boat river safari on the Chobe river followed by a lunch and a game drive in the Park. This park is populated by a massive elephant population, with families reaching up to hundreds of elements!
Upon return to Kasane, your guides will already have set the camp and prepared the dinner.

Day 4: Gweta
Wake and breakfast while your guides will dismantle the camp. We will then leave towards Gweta (approximately 300 km of tarmac road), a small and quite town next to the border of the Makghadighadi Pan and Nxhai Pan. Set up of the camp and lunch.
In the afternoon, a nature walk among the baobab will give you all information you need to nkow about this massive trees and the animals that live around them. Sundowner drink followed by a dinner around the fire and a night camping.
Day 5: Makghadighadi Pan
Wake, breakfast and visit of Gweta. Then we will leave the motorcycles in the camp and we will proceed by Quad bikes inside the Makghadighadi Pan, living an incredible adventure that cannot be described by words. We will spend the night under the starts in the heart of the Pan.
Day 6: Maun
Wake, breakfast and return to camp by Quad bike, stopping along the way to admire the meerkats and other animals that leave in this desert area. We will then head to Maun, entry gate to the Moremi Game Reserve, the emerged part of the Okavango Delta.
Lunch (not included) in Maun and relaxing afternoon. Dinner in town and night lodging.
Day 7: Moremi Game Reserve
We will leave for the Moremi Game Reserve on a mixed tarmac and gravel road. We will leave the motorcycles at the entry Gate and continue by 4×4 in the Game Reserve. We’ll set camp by Third Bridge in a camping area with ablutions and unfenced, continuously crossed by wild animals. While your guides will think about tents and dinner, we will be able to have another Safari around the camp.
Dinner by the campfire and night camping inside the national park.
Day 8: Moremi Game Reserve
Day entirely dedicated to the game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve with two photographic safaris (at sunrise and afternoon) to try and spot the felines that rule the area.
Meals will be eaten at camp and night will be camping.
Day 9: Maun
After breakfast and dismantling the camp by your guides, we will exit the Moremi Game Reserve and find our motorcycles.
Short stretch of road to Maun, where we will be accommodated in a good level lodge on a B&B basis. Dinner in Maun.
Day 10: End of the Safari (optional: Okavango Delta full day)
Alternative 1: based on the time of your flight, you will be brought to Maun international airport. End of arrangements.
Alternative 2: start riding our way back to Livingstone (600 km of tarmac road) at no additional cost.
Alternative 3 (Optional) – Okavango Delta full day: After breakfast, we will board a small plane and enjoy a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta. After landing on an island, we will proceed with a mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) safari along the streams of the delta. We will continue with a walking safari followed by a pic-nic lunch. Return to the airstrip by Mokoro and afternoon return scenic flight to Maun. Lodging in Man on a B&B basis and own arrangement for the farewell dinner to Botswana.
